Hey [INSERT NAME],
Thanks for coming into the clinic [WHEN]. We’re definitely excited to offer you a place with the No More Knots team.
Attached is a bunch of information for you to read over, which as I said is lengthy, but has heaps of important stuff in it. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about it though.
We still need to arrange the official induction day/time, where we will organise your shirt, your contract, your first set of workshops with me & we will schedule your first shifts into the diary.
I’ve cc’d [NAME] [THEIR ROLE I.E. MANAGER], who suggested [SUGGESTED DAYS] would be a great start for you at [WHICH CLINIC]. There will certainly be more sessions available but we’ll discuss this more at the induction. As we also discussed earlier, you will start as a [WHAT LEVEL] and look to build from there.
Most importantly, we’ll need you to register the addresses and keep us posted as soon as any Health Fund Provider numbers come through.
First steps to get you going:
1. Please click on this link and fill in the survey to give us some basic info we need before you start (if you could please do this before your induction day that would be great): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/newtherapistforms
2. Please read all attached documents prior to induction day. These will give you a good grasp on the basics of how our clinics run and what we consider important characteristics of our team members. Knowing this information in advance will really help you get the hang of working as a contractor at NMK.
a. NMK Contractor Rate Criteria Wheel: These are all the areas we monitor and discuss when looking at Therapist rate increases, so it’s important to understand all of these. The better you get at all the areas, the higher the rate you will be able to negotiate at each contract review. Feel free to chat with me about this during or after your induction so you are really clear about what are the priorities for you to be moving in the right direction.
b. NMK Commitment Document: Outlines NMK policies and procedures. Please pay special attention to the Shared Vision statement at the front of this document, as this is a keystone of our clinic culture.
One of the other most important things to get us is your personal therapist profile for the website. We have over 100 online bookings per week and your profile makes a difference to this as lots of clients check out the profiles prior to booking. Please see our current profiles on our website http://nomoreknots.com.au/our-team and then email yours to us via our Admin Manager Emma at firstname.lastname@example.org (please email this before your induction day).
4. Admin stuff: There will be another email coming from Emma that will cover other aspects of admin requirements for therapists, including invoices and pay-day, client visit notes, hours changes, etc.
5. Please email a copy of the following documentation to Keely as soon as possible:
Your Diploma of Remedial Massage or other massage or myotherapy qualification
Your Insurance Certificate
Your First Aid and CPR Certificate(s)
Your Association Membership Certificate
As outlined in the Commitment Document, standard uniform is black pants/long shorts/skirt and enclosed black shoes plus the NMK shirt. Once you have your uniform shirt, we’ll do a photo for the website and your wall profile. Please be prepared for this on your induction day.
In the meantime, please take a look through all of this info and don’t forget to click on the SurveyMonkey link to fill in all of your details. My apologies if some of this information seems a bit repetitive, all this information is sent to different areas within the business in order to get you up and running ASAP.
