Therapist Levels – Overview & Progression Guide
At No More Knots, our Therapist Level system is designed to recognise growth, skill development, and contribution to the team. It’s a clear pathway that helps you understand where you’re currently at, what’s expected at each level, and how to move forward when you’re ready
Progression Pathway: Remedial → Senior → Advanced Therapist
At No More Notes, therapist progression is based on demonstrated skill, professional growth, and commitment to ongoing development. The following outlines the steps required to progress from Remedial to Senior Therapist, and from Senior to Advanced Therapist.
1. Complete the Self-Assessment Tool
Your progression begins with completing the Therapist Self-Assessment Spreadsheet.
This tool helps you identify your strengths, weaknesses, and areas requiring further development.

2. Submit Your Assessment
Once completed, email your assessment directly to our Director of Education, Nathan Jones.
3. Face-to-Face Practical Assessment
After reviewing your self-assessment, Nathan will contact you to organise a face-to-face session.
This may include:
-
Practical, case-study-style assessments
-
Role-play scenarios covering specific conditions
-
Discussions around clinical reasoning and treatment planning
Following this session, Nathan may provide you with targeted skills or concepts to work on.
4. Follow-Up Development & Secondary Assessment (If Required)
Once you’ve consolidated the areas identified for improvement, you can request a secondary assessment.
This may or may not be required depending on your performance in the initial assessment.
5. Approval for Progression
When your clinical skills, professional behaviours, and treatment outcomes meet the required standard for the next level, Nathan will approve your progression and notify Management so your title can be updated.
