The first thing we need you to complete will be the Policies and Procedures Quiz which can be found at the following link All the answers are contained within the Commitment Document (Policies and Procedures) that I asked you to read through. Please sign this document as confirmation you understand the contents and bring it with you to your meeting with Kristy. If there is anything you are unsure about Kristy can cover it with you then. You can also ask her to clarify anything you are unsure about in the contract.
Also for that meeting you will need to have read the copy of Raving Fans I gave you. This is a book that Kristy and Kelly have taken great inspiration from. Kristy and Kel are passionate about customer service so would like to know how you feel about it and what you think. They would like for you to read the book (should only take approx 2 hours) and write a page of your thoughts on
What parts of the book you felt were most important
What ideas you can take from this book
How you will incorporate these ideas into your treatments at NMK
Please have this information sent through to me before your meeting with Kristy as this is something she will be covering during her one on one training with you. You have been hired because your skill set and hands on abilities make you a great therapist, however mastering communication and customer service will help transform you into an awesome therapist, and we are excited to help and witness you on that journey.
Lastly I have attached the self-assessed Therapist Skills Checklist document. As mentioned this is a comprehensive document of 5 pages (tabs bottom left corner) which most people find a little daunting. Please don’t be intimidated, this is a snap shot of your skills starting with us and this document will be used to direct you training needs over the coming months. You will be asked to complete it again at your annual review so that you can measure the progress you have made with respect to skills as a therapist. It will probably take you approx. 30mins to complete.
Please have this done by the end of your first week and email it back to so I can pass it on to Dan to go through this with you in your initial training sessions with him.
